First Sermon

  • What came in the Religion is the best for the people
  • Lying is something that is considered very ugly
  • Among the thins that parents tell their kids is "if you lie it's only going to be worse!"
  • The Prophets were followed by the people
  • The people would watch them carefully to see if they ever did something wrong
  • Lying in the Religion is to say the opposite of the truth intentionally
  • This is what he believed
  • Some people do it for various reasons
  • Lying depending on the siuation might be minor/major/or BLASPHEMY
  • The blind person is not going to see the hole
  • The person without knowledge is like a blind person
  • This does not mean to take it lightly
  • The more a person lies it becomes easier to do it again
  • Mountains are made up of small pebbles
  • If it leads to harming the person than it's an enormous sin
  • Lying to make people laugh is an enormous sin
  • If they die with an enormous sin than they are deserving of the punishment of Allah
  • The Prophet said "I joke but I never lie"
  • The person who intentionally belies the Religion, this is blasphemy
  • We never sell our Religion to please people
  • We want them to be guided
  • We never go beyond the line
  • The Prophet was a kind man, he was merciful
  • We do not encourage small sins
  • "Indeed I joke, but I only tell the truth"
  • They intentionally lie about the Religion
  • This takes them out of the Religion
  • This obligation came to all the Muslims
  • The knowledge is the light that we need to see in the darkness
  • After he can protect himself, he can protect his family
  • Even your neighbors, they might not be Muslim, but if they see your good manners they might convert
  • We take the knowledge and we implement
  • How are you going to teach the people if you have no knowledge?
  • "You don't pray, why do I have to pray?"
  • Let's prepare for the hereafter

  • Second Sermon

  • Protect yourself from sins
  • The fact that he described the Mosque in exact detail is a proof of his truthfulness
  • The journey took place in both body and soul
  • The night journey began when the Angel Gabriel came down and washed the chest of the Prophet with zam zam water
  • He prayed two rak'ahs
  • He dismounted and he prayed two rak'ahs
  • All the Prophets gathered and he led them all in prayer
  • He smelled a pleasant fragrance
  • She said "Allah is my Lord"
  • The Pharaoh ordered her to leave her Religion
  • She was protected by Allaah
  • She remained steadfast
  • Allah enabled the child to speak
  • Our society these days is negligent
  • Are you performing prayer? Are you paying zakath?
  • The Prophet saw people whose heads were being crushed by Angels
  • These are the people who were "too lazy" to perform prayer

  • Jummah Class

  • Whoever Allah willed for him goodness he makes him knowledgable in the Religion
  • He will make a way for the person to learn
  • The perfect Muslim will not suffice from getting knowledge until his end is Jannah
  • Allaah ordered the Prophet in the Quran to ask for knowledge
  • Allah did not ask the Prophet to ask for anything more than knowledge
  • It is a good sign for the Muslim to want to gain more knowledge
  • The greatest of all knowledge is the knowledge of Tawheed
  • The chapter of knowledge before action
  • Know first, then do
  • If you want to make Wudu you have to learn before you can engage in that action
  • You are obligated to learn
  • If you don't learn then your deed will be lost
  • Many people they stand to pray with no knowledge so the only thing that they get is fatigue
  • Many people they fast, but they don't get nothing out of it except for hunger and thirst
  • It is an obligation for every single accountable person to acquire a certain amount of knowledge
  • This personal obligatory knowledge is even taught to the young Muslims
  • Teacgh your families the personal obligatory knowledge
  • For everything that you do you have to get knowledge first
  • This amount of knowledge is always mentioned here
  • The stories of the Prophets and the pious people
  • Have the firm intention now
  • The greatest matters of Islam, the five pillars
  • The five pillars are the greatest matters of Islam
  • It means the most important matters of Islam
  • This is what Islam and faith is
  • Some people put their energy elsewhere
  • Islam will be persecuted again
  • There will be a day when the Muslim looks strange because he is performing the obligations
  • The Prophet said this through revelation
  • By speading the knowledge the person gets the reward of a martyr
  • Meaning he will enter Paradise with no torture
  • By frequenting the sessions
  • In the past when a scholar came to a city or town many people will gather
  • Nowadays people gather to see a singer
  • Because the crowd of people attract others
  • That person's curiousity will be soarked
  • You are like an advertisement
  • By you sitting here you strengthen the deen
  • You don't know after today if you will be alive
  • The person's curiousity will be awakened
  • We are doing this because we want people to learn
  • There will come a day we will depart from this dunya
