First Sermon

    • The Prophet said that the Angels they put down their wings out of obedience
    • It is an obligation upon every Muslim to believe in the Angels
    • The one who does not believe in the existence of the Angels is not a Muslim
    • NEVER belie the Qur'an or the Hadiths
    • This Ayat is a proof of the existence of the Angels
    • It's an obligation to believe that Angels are Awliya
    • Angels have a choice, but they always choose obedience
    • They are light bodies
    • They are intangible
    • They cannot be touched
    • The Angels are lighter than the air
    • They are neither male nor female
    • The Kuufars call the Angels female
    • Allaah called the people who call Angels female blasphemers
    • Sometimes Angels take the shape of a human being
    • If they do so then they will always be male, without private parts
    • The Angels do not eat or drink
    • They never disobey the orders of Allaah
    • The Angels have a choice like us
    • Allaah gave the Angels different orders
    • Some of the Angels are responsible for making sure that the trees and grass grow
    • Some of them are in charge of writing down what the humans do
    • They know everything you do and believe
    • Allaah tells the Angels what's in a persons' heart and they write it down
    • Some of the Angels are in charge of protecting the humans from the Jinn
    • If it wasn't for these Angels protecting us the Jinn would play with us like a small boy plays with a ball
    • They don't protect you from everything
    • The number of the Angels is very numerous
    • 70,000 Angels everyday go to a place that's like the Ka'ba and they circulate it and never return
    • This happens everyday
    • There are many Angels in the skies
    • The Angels do not sleep and they do not have offspring
    • They do not consumate and they do not have children
    • They always obey Allah
    • This is how Allaah created them
    • This is something that you learn
    • By the sound mind
    • We need to learn these from the texts of the religion

      • Jummah Class

        • This sin is done mostly by the tongue
        • The majority of sins is because of the tongue
        • More than the sin of the eyes, feet, etc...
        • Why is that? Because using the tongue does not require a lot of effort
        • A man came to the Prophet (PBUH) asking for advice
        • He said hold this back, the tongue
        • We are accountable for what we say
        • Be careful with what you say
        • Everything that the human says is documented
        • There are two Angels that document everything that you say
        • An Angel document what you do
        • And what you believe in your heart
        • Allaah will reveal to the Angels what you have in your heart and they will document it
        • The scholars say that the tongue is the organ that does the most work
        • In every circumstance you can speak
        • It is the organ that does the most deeds
        • Think first, don't rush
        • He has to monitor what he says
        • The companions were keen to implement this matter
        • Stay quiet on evil and you will be safe
        • The majority of sins is from the tongue
        • The person needs to monitor their speech
        • You must learn first
        • Gossip is one of the things that the Prophet and the Qur'an forbade
        • Don't gossip
        • To talk about a true matter behind your Muslim brother or sister behind his back that they don't like to be said about them, though it's a true matter
        • "He sleeps a lot"
        • "His kid is always screaming"
        • Saying it to the persons' face is even more sinful
        • Because you will be breaking their heart
        • The religion encourages us to treat others well even if they're not present
        • The relgion forbade us to talk bad about our Muslim brother/sister
        • The reason for it is the tongue
        • Tailbearing- when one person tells another person something about another then the person goes and tell the person what the first person said about them
        • Lying is Haram
        • This type of lie is blasphemous, deeming something that is halal, haram
        • Swearing while lying is not blasphemous
        • Among the sins of the tongue is labeling someone to be a fornicator when they are not, it is an enormous sin
        • Or you are the son of a fornicator
        • This is an enormous sin
        • The Muslim ruler lashes him 80 times
        • It's not a light matter labeling someone as a fornicator
        • Nowadays some people use it as a joke
        • Mentioning the good traits of the deceased while crying, this is a sin
        • If he mentions the good traits
        • Also it's sinful to scream out or rip the shirt to show a persons' impatience
        • What is sinful is to mention the good traits
        • Just praising him is not sinful

        • The sincere intention is doing a deed only seeking the reward from Allaah
        • Allaah sent Messengers to reveal the message
        • We believe that Allaah Willed for everything in this universe to occur
        • Allaah Willed the good and the evil
        • Whatever evil happens is by the will of Allah
        • Allaah does not accept the evil
        • Allaah willed for everything in this universe to exist
        • Allaah made things according to His Knowledge
        • Any beneficial thing that happens Allaah Willed for it to occur
        • If this is what you have in your heart than you are a believer
        • The evil eye is real and its' harm is very severe
        • The evil eye occurs because of envy
        • The person would envy someone or something and that's how the evil eye occurs
        • If the person looks and then prides themself that's when the evil eye occur
        • But not from an innocent look
        • Some scholars say that the evil eye will only harm the person if it is accompanied with words
        • Some scholars say just a look alone
        • Nothing occurs without Allaah Willing it
        • The blasphemers would look at the Prophet (PBUH) with the evil eye
        • When something is said that's when the evil eye strikes
        • They will say something
        • The Shaytan notices when that person says something
        • The Shaytan does not know what is in the heart of a person
        • "Allaah bless him and make him be far away from him"

        • BACK TO ALLAH
