Maryam [Mother Of Jesus]
  • And for her offspring from Shaytan
  • So her child is Maryam and who is the offspring of Maryam?
  • Eesa and it stopped right there; There was no other offspring So these are the only two who were
  • Excluded from the stabbing of Shaytan
  • So this is the beginning of Maryam AS
  • Maryam AS now grows up and Allah says about the oath
  • That was taken by the mother of Maryam AS
  • Allah accepted that oath; Allah accepted it in goodness
  • Good manners; Good etiquette; Morals; Well spoken
  • She was a woman of dignity
  • And Maryam AS of course now that she is born
  • And Hannah doesn't know what to do with her because
  • It wasn't; In that society this wasn't possible or practical
  • For a woman to be dedicated to the temple
  • Because it was only men that were in the temple at that time
  • It wasn't practical for a woman to go out and do 'Dawah';
  • And 'Subhanallah' You know; She has this baby
  • And she wanted to fulfil her promise to Allah
  • So Zakariyya AS takes it upon himself
  • And Rasullullah SAW says about Zakariyya AS
  • That he was a carpenter
  • And he used to eat from his daily earnings
  • And so Zakariyya AS built a 'Mihrab'
  • Not just an area in the 'Masjid' but rather he built
  • A structure in the 'Masjid'; A room in the 'Masjid'
  • He built this place for her where she can have her privacy
  • Grow up in that temple and worship Allah SWT just as a man would
  • While at the same time of course not compromising her modesty
  • So Zakariyya AS will go up and check on her every single day
  • She grew up and this young girl loved to worship Allah SWT
  • I mean she craved it and in fact 'Subhanallah'
  • And this is actually the nature of when she would
  • Leave the 'Masjid' in the first place
  • She would leave to remember Allah SWT
  • At the times when she can not be in the 'Masjid'
  • She would still go out to the east and remember Allah SWT
  • Watch the sun rising and remember Allah SWT
  • This women ate; You know breathed; Drink
  • The 'Dhikr' of Allah SWT; Remembrance of Allah SWT
  • Even as she was a young girl and so Zakariyya AS;
  • Would come; Find her in 'Ibadah'
  • Find her worshipping Allah all the time
  • But he used to notice strange things
  • He would come in to visit Maryam in her place of worship
  • And he would find with her 'Rizq'
  • 'Rizq' is [Provision; Sustenance] from Allah
  • That she used to get the fruits of summer in winter
  • And she would get the fruits of winter in summer
  • And these fruits were fresh; It is a miracle
  • And these were things that were happening frequently
  • Because Allah SWT says: Whenever he would go and visit her
  • He would find with her 'Rizq'
  • So it's not once or twice; It's many times; Frequently
  • And she is there in the room and this 'Rizq' is coming to her
  • So Zakariyya AS asked her: Where is this 'Rizq' coming from?
  • What was the response of Sayyidina Maryam AS
  • She said: This is from Allah
  • And then she told him
  • And she's givin him this wonderful lesson in 'Rizq'
  • Allah SWT gives the ones He wants without any limits
  • See what she said: Allah will give you
  • Without any limits; So it's limitless
  • Allah SWT says: That the Angels came to Maryam
  • And delivered to her news that she has been chosen by Allah
