Musa
- And Musa AS will grow. And he grows a very healthy growth
- Very strong, very tough, that Musa AS had the strength of ten men
- He got to a certain peak, and Allah says
- We granted him the ability to distinguish between what is right and wrong
- That wisdom, that authority, that understanding and knowledge as well over and above that
- And Allah says- This is how We recompense those who do good
- And Musa AS himself being young, he had grown up firmly believing in his heart that this man here is not God, and he is not even a part of God, and he is nothing but a normal human being
- And he was intact within, he already knew who he was
- He knew his true identity and he only worshipped the One and Only Creator
- He entered the city, he went at a time when everyone was resting
- Reported in the afternoon when everyone were resting, he came out, and he noticed two people were fighting
- This was from Banu Isra'il the one
- And the other one was from the people of Firawn who considered Firawn a God and so on
- Musa AS went a little bit further and gave this man one blow
- And this man was dead. He died!
- Imagine, one blow. Look at how powerful this man must have been
- He did not intend to do anything more than fixing this man and trying to teach him a lesson
- "HEY, DON'T MESS"
- But this went beyond what he intended and it was unintentional completely
- As soon as he saw this man drop dead, he says:
- This is from Shaytaans handy work, the devil has done this
- He leads astray, clearly he is an outright enemy
- Musa AS hid himself
- Now if they know I did that it's enough they had a grudge over for the last eighteen years
- Knowing that I am from Bani Isra'il, living in the house and the palace of the Pharaoh
- They are just waiting for something like this to happen
- Especially the Pharaoh himself, he hates him, but he was forced to keep him there
- So he is waiting for some wrong, such a wrong that happened, for this to make the Pharaoh kill him or get rid of him
- He said- O my Lord! I had wronged myself, I had done something wrong, so forgive me
- And Allah AWJ said- Allah had forgiven him, He is the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful
- And he said- Ya Allah! This gift that You had given me I would never use it for what displeases You, O my Lord
- But now Allah had forgiven him
- But in Egypt if they know that he is the one that killed that Egyptian, then there will be a great retalliation
- And then the next day, same time, while he was walking
- He saw the same Israeli, that he stood by yesterday, fighting against another Egyptian
- When Musa looked at the Israeli he said- Indeed! You are misguided and you are hotheaded
- When Musa AS wanted to go forth in order to deal with the crisis in a similar manner
- This man says, O Musa! You want to kill me in a similar manner that you killed that man yesterday?
- Now everybody heard
- And the news is out there and the soldiers now are looking for Musa AS
- One of the Egyptians who used to love Musa, like Musa, and he is one of the close ones to the Pharaoh
- He heard that the soldiers are out there to take Musa and capture him
- And lock him up and make him pay a big price for his crime
- He came to Musa looking for him
- A man from the inner part of the city came running to Musa AS
- O Musa AS! The chiefs, they are planning against you now in order to kill you, so please leave this city, now
- I am definitely someone who is genuine, I have genuine feelings for you
- He went out with fear, scared looking around, is there anyone following him
- Ya Allah! Save me from these people
- He went east towards Madyan, Madyan is the city of Shu'ayb AS
- And Musa AS went to the city of Madyan after Allah AWJ had destroyed the people of Madyan
- Musa AS traveling, and we are talking about hundreds of kilometers walking with his shoes
- That his shoes at the end, worn out and he was walking barefooted
- And Musa AS had no food
- What is he going to get from the desert except the leaves that are lying around
- It has been mentioned that Musa AS was eating the leaves of the trees that his lips became green
- When he faced Madyan, he asked Allah SWT to guide him
- Praying that Ya Allah! Guide me to the path, guide me towards some goodness on this path
- Until he arrived to Madyan, very skinny, very tired, barefooted
- Looks like someone who is a miskeen, a poor man that's coming from no where to the city of Madyan
- When he got to the place where they used to make their flocks drink from
- He has seen everyone is making their flock drink water
- He saw two women as well
- From all the men who were making the sheep drink, and those women, they were at the back
- They were not in the rush of all the men
- So he asked them- what is it with the two of you?
- They said look- we are not going to go and let our sheep drink
- Or our flock drink until these people go back
- And our father is an elderly man
- He went, he got some buckets of water, and he let all this flock drink, all of them, he did it himself
- He had made this flock drink, of the two women
- And then he reclined in the shade and he made a Dua to Allah saying-
- O Allah! I am in need of any goodness that you send in my direction
- One of the two women, who were there moments ago, whom he had helped, in a very modest way she is walking back
- My father is calling you in order to give you a reward for what you did for us
