First Sermon

  • We thank Him for the uncountable endowments
  • Nothing deserves to be worshipped except Allah
  • The meaning of worship in the Islamic Religion is ultimate submission
  • The One who has no partners with Him in Godhood
  • He is not a tangible or intangible body
  • His existence was not preceeded by nonexistence
  • His Life is not dependant on anything
  • It is mentally impossible for Allah to come to an end
  • He is the One Who provides sustenance to His slaves
  • His Knowledge is not like the knowledge of others
  • By His Power He makes things exist and not exist
  • Allah is not powerless
  • No one can evade sinning except by Allah's protection
  • He is clear of all imperfections
  • Because that is among the attributes of the creation
  • He does not resemble anything from His creation
  • No one creates with this meaning except Allah

  • Second Sermon

  • Allah exists with no beginning and no end
  • We seek His forgiveness, His help, and His guidance
  • The honorable month of Ramadan has left us
  • After the month has left us remain steadfast
  • The good Muslim remains steadfast
  • He saw him praying inside of the grave
  • "Don't say anything"
  • He asked his daughter "what did he used to do"
  • She asked "what did you see?"
  • He asked Allah for fifty years to make him among the ones who will pray inside the grave
  • Allah granted him that honor
  • He prayed a lot of the optional prayers
  • After their heads were smashed they would return back to normal
  • This life is so short
  • This is the situation of the smart one
  • Be among the intelligent ones
  • Being negligent will not help the person in this life
  • Remain steadfast after Ramadan
  • Restrain yourself from speaking sinfully
  • Learning the knowledge of the Religion is an obligation
  • The perfect believer does not suffice from acquiring knowledge until his end is paradise
  • He does not get satiated
  • Rush towards the door of repentance
  • As long as the person does not see the Angel of Death
  • Only eating and drinking for pleasure
  • May Allah make us from among the winners
  • And the evil that we do
  • Fear Allah in public and in private
  • "O Allah, forgive the sins of the Muslims, those alive and those dead"

  • Jummah Class

  • I remind you to correct your intentions
  • Today at 6pm there's a class
  • He gives him comprehension of the Religious matters
  • The best deeds are done consistently
  • This worldly life is the abode of something that is passed through
  • This wordly life in relation to the hereafter is like a field
  • The hereafter is neverending
  • The good believer does not get enough of doing good deeds
  • The grave is the first station of the hereafter
  • The Day of Judgement does not start when one go to the grave
  • He used to stand in front of the grave and cry
  • I heard him say that the grave is the first stay of the hereafter
  • He called it "a garden from among the gardens of paradise, or a pit from hell"
  • It's either going to be a garden or pit
  • When people look at the grave they would feel some sort of discomfort
  • All the pleasures of this world will not equal to that of the grave
  • If the god fearing believer had to choose between coming out the grave and ruling the world he would not come out the grave
  • He would not want to leave it behind
  • In the grave there will be no fear for him
  • If we went to the most beautiful orchard in the world
  • Who said this? The Messengee of Allah PBUH
  • He conveys not from his own opinions
  • The enjoyment and torture of the grave are hidden to us
  • He may make it apparent for some people
  • Allah expands the grave for whoever He wills
  • If they were given the choice to rule the entire world they would decline
  • Some people they hear the hadeeth but they are not awakened
  • The one who is patient in this worldly life will be very happy in the grave
  • The Day of Judgement will last for 50,000 years
  • Pay very close attention to this number
  • The people will remain in that position for 50,000 years
  • The actual questioning is only a part of the 50,000
  • Think about it
  • Noah lived for 1,750 years
  • For other than the believer he/she will feel every moment
  • Some people would be made to wait when they want to cross the borders
  • He's like "what's going on?"?
  • This is before a person is made to go to Paradise or Hellfire
  • All 50,000 of those years
  • For the pious believer it will take as long as it does to do an obligatory prayer
  • Every single one of us
  • After mentioning that how can a person be stingy in doing acts of obedience?
  • The smart one is the one who exerts in effort in teaching others
  • The most intelligent people are those who obey their Lord

  • 6pm Class

  • We start with the name of Allah
  • We correct our intentions seeking the reward from Allah the Exalted
  • This Surah was revealed after the emigration of the Messenger SAWS
  • The reason for the revelation was because a woman came to the Messenger SAWS
  • A woman from Makkah came to the Messenger SAWS
  • She was not a Muslim
  • He(SAWS) asked her: "Did you embrace Islam?"
  • She said no
  • "So why did you come?"
  • "I came for a need"
  • The tribe of Abdul-Mutallib encouraged them to give her what she needed
  • He was among those who were at the Battle of Badr
  • This companion gave the woman ten gold coins
  • It was from him to the people of Makkah
  • "I know that the Messenger of Allah is coming to you so be aware"
  • She took that letter and she left
  • She informed the Messenger of Allah
  • The Messenger of Allah SAWS sent a group
  • If she refuses to give up the letter...
  • Those companions of the Messenger of Allah
  • She refused to give them the letter
  • Among that group was Ali
  • "I swear by Allah I did not lie and the Messenger of Allah did not lie so give up the letter or we're going to chop you on the neck
  • "What made you do what you did?"
  • "I swear by Allah I did not cheat you since I've known you
  • "The reason why I did that is because I'm not originally from the people of Makkah
  • The matter is that this Sahaba had some relatives from Makkah but they were not a group
  • He sent this letter because he feared for their situation
  • The Ayats then were revealed
  • In the beginning Allah orders the believers not to take the enemies as Awliya
  • There will be between you and the enemies of Allah love
  • Surely they have blasphemed in what pertains to the belief of Allah
  • They reject the Prophet's message. How after that will you take them as friends?
  • Do not have love and closeness between you and those who blasphemed
  • What is hidden from Allah?
  • You know that Allah knows all
  • When He exposed what is in their hearts
  • Those blasphemers would kill them
  • And those nonbelievers they want to kill you
  • And they want you to blaspheme
  • The most important thing to you is your Islam
  • The blasphemers know that you will never leave Islam
  • For what reason would you have love and closeness for those nonbelievers
  • On the Day of Resurrection the believers and the nonbelievers would be separated
  • This is what was revealed in the Qur'an
  • It is better for you to rely on Allah
  • You have to observe the rights of Allah
  • Allah revealed that this was a good example from Ibrahim
  • Ibrahim separated himself from his people because they were blasphemers
  • Prophet Abraham and his followers said that they were enemies of the nonbelievers
  • Because they did not believe
  • He separated himself from his father
  • Prophet Abraham was patient with his people for a long time
  • They built a fire for him and they wanted to kill him
  • They stayed on the blasphemy even after they saw that he was thrown in the fire and he was not burned
  • Ibrahim said to his father I will supplicate to Allah for you to be guided but it is Allah Who guides. If he chooses to guide you then you will be guided if not then you won't
  • "We trust You we worship You
  • You are the one who judges the creatures
  • Their hearts became stronger
  • The non-believers they were steadfast in their hatred for Islam
  • When these verses were revealed the enmity that the believers had for the nonbelievers escalated
