First Sermon

  • Allah has 13 attributes the scholars said that it is an obligation to know them
  • His Existence has no beginning
  • 100 years ago I did not exist
  • Allah existed and there was no place
  • He exists as he was
  • Allah is One without any partner in Godhood
  • Allah is the Only God
  • When we say "one" we don't mean in the context of numbers
  • Allah is the only One who creates
  • He is Eternal, meaning His Existence is eternal
  • He has no end to His Existence
  • He is the Only Creator
  • There are angels who are in charge of carrying out tasks ordained by Allah
  • Allah has power over everything
  • Allah's Power is not related to the mental impossibility
  • It's mentally impossible for Allah to be in a place
  • We don't answer yes or no, rather we say "Allah's Power is not related to the mentally impossible things"
  • He ordered the good and He accepts the good
  • If a person keeps this in their heart they would be very comfortable
  • They will not harm you because Allah did not Will it
  • If a person keeps this in their heart they will be at peace
  • His Knowledge does not increase nor decrease because His Knowledge is perfect, just like His other attributes
  • He Knows everything without any exceptions
  • When a person remembers that Allah is All-Knowledgable their fear for Allah will grow
  • We should feel shy when we committ sins
  • Even if it was 1,000 miles away He will Hear it
  • This is also something that we should fear in our hearts, Allah Sees everything
  • Allah's Life is not like our life
  • Allah's Speech is not like our speech
  • Those expressions are not the Eternal Speech of Allah
  • Rather those expressions are letters referring to the Eternal Speech of Allah
  • Whatever you imagine in your mind Allah is different
  • Everything you imagine in your mind is a creation
  • This is the most precious knowledge
  • This is the knowledge of the Religion

  • Second Sermon

  • Allaah granted the people many endowments
  • Like the tongue, hands
  • Thank Allah for these endowments
  • Don't use these endowments in a way in which He does not approve
  • The one who curses Allah is not a Muslim
  • The Muslim is the one who glorifies Allah at all times
  • Being angry and intentionally saying is not an excuse for saying Blasphemy
  • "Aren't you a Muslim?" He says "No", this takes him out of Islam
  • The Muslim is merciful
  • Any term that indicates imperfection to Allah is cursing Allah
  • Such sayings are wrong, because they contradict the Qur'an
  • The person might say one word
  • And also they contradict the sayings of Prophet Muhammad
  • The person might say one word which results in him falling the depth of 70 years into hellfire
  • There is no disagreement among the Muslims
  • What you say gets documented by the two angels
  • Protect your tongue from ugly words

  • Jummah Class

  • The scholars mentioned theses three categories of blasphemy so people can stay away from it
  • The scholars of the Four Schools said this
  • blasphemy of the heart, tongue and body
  • Among the blasphemous beliefs is to believe that Allah has an image
  • The scholars they said that
  • Not an involuntary thought a firm belief
  • If they believe that Allah has a form than he is not Muslim
  • The person that makes fun of or belie hellfire
  • There is an hell, but it's like a hospital- blasphemy
  • The blasphemous action is like prostrating to the sun, moon or a statue
  • The involuntary thought is not the same
  • The Shaytan keeps on throwing images of Allah in their mind
  • He won't believe those things because he has already learned
  • He didn't say attributes that are like shapes, colors
  • Allaah is not a body
  • The one who learned the proper knowledge won't be affected by the misguidance of the Shaytan
  • Ignorance is never an excuse
  • Or if they belittle an act of worship
  • The creed of Islam has to be respected
  • It's not permissible even if he was angry
  • Is that an excuse to call the person a son of a fornicator?
  • That does not reach the severity of blasphemy
  • The person is not excused
  • "I'll be with the dancers in hellfire"
  • They are belittling the punishment of hellfire
  • Even if the person was trying to be funny
  • Anger and joking is not an excuse
  • There is an excuse for the persoon who has a slip of the tongue
  • He found his camel he was so excited
  • And if a person is threatened with death
  • She was the first martyr
  • Your heart is not accepting that thing that they want you to say
  • As long as their heart is not pleased then they do not blaspheme
  • Anger and joking are not excuses
  • We investigate when the person is threated with death
  • Be awake, this is very important
  • "Do not get angry" three times
  • We know that it is not an excuse
  • If a person falls into blasphemy they clear themselves by uttering the two shahadas
  • With the intention of never returning to that blasphemy
  • We don't tell the person "now you have to build a Mosque"
  • We only say to him "say the Shahada"
  • The way to enter Islam is not by saying "Astaghfirullah"
  • Saying "Astaghfirullah" only benefits the Muslim, but the blasphemer is not Muslim
  • The Prophet had lofty manners
  • This is not something that was known in their society
  • And facilitate for me what is best for me
  • He taught him after he became Muslim
  • It's not valid for the nonbeliever to say "Astaghfirullah"
  • We need to pay attention to this case that is very important
  • There is a difference between the two
  • Some people because of ignorance they recite Qur'an without knowledge
  • Allaah ordered us in the Qur'an to check back with the scholars if we do not know
  • That person destroys himself
  • Whoever talks about the Qur'an without knowledge, even if he is right that person is sinning
  • Some people they read the Qur'an without knowledge, and they get misguided, thus they destroy themselves
  • The scholars have knowledge that goes back to the Prophet
  • There are some things that inevitably have to be explained
  • If it's the book of a scholar than that's a different issue
  • And it's also permissible to ask Allah for guidance
  • He teaches him to ask forgiveness after he embraces Islam
  • If a person gets angry because of haram than this is permissible
  • Don't fall into Haram
  • We get angry when Haram takes place
  • It's possible that the Kafir his Dua will be answered by Allaah
  • The supplication of the one who is oppressed
  • Don't oppress the nonbelievers
  • For example to enter his home without his permission
